Examinations and diagnostics
To plan treatment effectively, to ensure that it runs smoothly and to solve the health problem impeccably, the cause of the problem must first be established precisely. Accurate diagnostics help the dentist to assess the condition of the patient’s oral cavity and teeth, to draw up an individual treatment plan, to monitor the course of treatment and to ensure the most effective results.
To save our patients’ time, all the X-rays needed for diagnostics are taken at our clinic. Our advanced X-ray equipment, which meets the highest safety and quality requirements, not only produces exceptionally high quality images quickly, but also ensures a minimal dose of ionising radiation.
X-ray examination options
Panoramic X-ray (orthopantomogram)
This image makes it possible to assess the overall picture of the upper and lower jaws and the condition of all the teeth and their roots, so it is used when planning the extraction of wisdom and retained (unerupted) teeth, larger-scale prosthetics, implantation and orthodontic treatment, and when assessing the periodontal condition.
Dental X-ray
This is an image of the crowns and roots of one or several teeth. It helps to assess precisely the length and arrangement of the root canals and the carious lesions of the tooth.
Computed tomography
Dental computed tomography (CT) is a medical imaging technique used to examine in depth the condition of the teeth, jaws and nearby structures. This method makes it possible to visualise tissue in detail, helping dentists to determine precisely the causes of problems such as root infections or bone changes. It is a modern diagnostic tool that provides a comprehensive picture and helps to optimise treatment plans.
3SHAPE scanner
The 3Shape scanner makes it possible to obtain precise three-dimensional models of the teeth non-invasively, replacing traditional impressions. The 3Shape scanner works like this: it uses modern optical technology to scan the patient’s teeth and palate. This information is transferred to a computer, which creates a digital model of the teeth. Dentists can see the teeth and the bite precisely on the screen. This allows the course of treatment to be planned more smoothly and reduces discomfort for the patient.
We are experienced dentistry professionals, aiming to ensure precise treatment and the highest quality, long-lasting result. In our clinic, diagnostics are carried out using modern equipment. With the help of digital technologies the diagnostic process is not only safer, but also more precise, smoother and more comfortable. We analyse the examination data carefully and present it to the patient, discussing the treatment options and the planned result. Entrust us with the health of your teeth and oral cavity. Our goal is to ensure fast and safe diagnostics and impeccably precise treatment!
